In what can only be described as a positive development for Monica Lindeen, the head of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, the DCCC, recently told a columnist for the Seattle Post Intelligencer that Lindeen has “exactly the right profile.”
In a piece titled “Eyeing races for control of U.S. House,” Intelligencer columnist Joel Connelly looks at how the fight for control of the U.S. House of Reps is shaping up. Connelly interviews DCCC head Rep. Rahm Emanuel, D-Il, who appears bullish on Lindeen’s prospects.
Connelly writes:
Monica Lindeen, founder of the Montana Communications Network, is taking on Rep. Denny Rehberg, R-Mont. Lindeen is a state legislator who hails from GOP-leaning Eastern Montana. "She has exactly the right profile," boasted Emanuel.
The D-Trip, as it's called by some, is the arm of the national Democratic Party charged with picking up seats in the U.S. House.
