He's lost at least three senior aides since this whole thing started, including his Legislative Director, Press Secretary, and Military Affairs person.

Also, a recent, trusted pollster has Burns' job approval at a Martz-esque 41 percent. I'm not saying it in so many lines, but Burns' has to be doing some soul searching. His troubles, including the low numbers and staff exitous, are more than meets the eye.
